The winter season in Mexico is truly magical. Our shores welcome 8 of the 11 known species of whales in the world, making Banderas Bay the temporary home for magnificent Humpback Whales. We invite you to join our whale watching tour in puerto vallarta for the 2026-2027 season to witness these incredible mammals in their natural habitat.

We provide a complete experience that starts from the moment you climb aboard. Your journey includes a delicious Continental Breakfast to start the day right. Enjoy a variety of hand-made fruit, orange juice, bread, milk, and coffee. We also serve fresh pancakes with jam and maple honey.

To ensure you have the best experience, we offer two convenient departure locations:
8:30 am: Paradise Village Public dock in Nuevo Nayarit.
9:20 am: Puerto Magico (API Terminal) in Puerto Vallarta.
We highly recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a light sweater. Comfortable shoes are also essential for moving around the boat safely.

Humpback whales are the most commonly spotted species during the winter months. However, you may also encounter Bryde's whales, minke whales, orcas, and even playful bottlenose dolphins.

The official whale watching season in Banderas Bay runs from early December through March (for our 2026–2027 season). Outside of these months, our Snorkeling and Sunset Tours are available year-round!
